Katasha and I met partly through font. Yes, font. She and I shared the same affinity for a certain script (and The Flying Cupcake) and friends we became. Katasha is a true fashionista (Louis Vuitton bag?) and her brides are as well. She is stylish, witty, and hilariously frank. I have spent nearly 12 hours trying to narrow down my absolute favorites for this blog entry. So, I did narrow them down but not as much as I really should have. I know its ridiculous. I can’t and shouldn’t continue at this pace or I’ll never catch up with everything else much less have a life! But, sometimes there are exceptions. The exception is that I really (gasp!) enjoy my career path. I enjoy the imagery that I can create. I enjoy capturing moments that cannot be described by words alone. You’ll see some of those here. I enjoy all the relationships and friendships I make along the way. I enjoy witnessing sweet kisses, laughter, unique details, and as of last night-people packed on the dance floor dancing to I’m on a boat. Yes, I’m on a boat.

Brandon and Alicia are beautiful. Brandon and Alicia are hilarious. Oh, yeah…and Brandon and Alicia are married too! It was sensory overload as I started my day. There were so many wonderful details, sincere smiles and I got to listen to Alicia, her sister Liz, and I’s favorite music…Britney. (!!!) Music makes the day so much more enjoyable as you get ready, in my opinion. I was singing and bobbing around “…unusual youuuuuuu.” So, enough of my personal embarrassment.

Brandon, Alicia, and all of their family and friends  (even the 1,857 Reeves!) were a blast to be with the entire day. I cannot thank you all enough for everything. We could hang out with you all anytime. So, please give us more reasons, k? Again, my words do no justice so on with what you want to see anyway!

This is really silly, but its for the boys….allll 6 of them. : )

My mom asked on Mother’s Day, “Could we just get a couple pictures today? ”

“Mais bien sûr!” ‘ Cause we all casually throw around French in this household. Je sais pas…

Our impromptu session(s) were shot in 8 minutes each. Props to Kyle for the last photos including me and the last, yet my favorite moment with my mom. : )

Fact 1) My mom has the most hysterically LOUD laugh. Probably even louder than mine. I know, right?

Fact 2) My entire family is NUTS, and she is the leader of the nut-pack. (As you can see my sister demonstrating below as well.)

Fact 3) I have inherited “the nose” and “the legs” from her. No thanks, and thanks respectively.

Fact 4) I am a total momma’s girl and I love it.

It was straight out of The Secret Garden. The winter had felt so long I nearly forgot what a floral scent tangibly was. Everything about this session just screams Fun! and Spring! and Color!,  I can’t help but smile. (It doesn’t hurt that they were incredibly easy and fun to photograph either…)
